$2k for a tooth.. I'd pull it out

I guess it's like some players putting in contacts for the game.. But, in kassians case, he pulls out a tooth haha.

Bieksa was funny last night:

@ 13:43 Kass going for dinner with his old buddies?

Haha yeah I noticed that yesterday. Kind of funny.

pastarocket 03-04-2012 12:46 PM

What's happened to Henrik? The captain has no points in the past five games. The twins have generated scoring chances in games but no finish for the captain.

jeedee 03-04-2012 12:58 PM

Meh stop panicking over the twins production rate people.

Maybe they're saving up for the playoffs? For when it actually matters? If they continue to have droughts during the playoffs THAT'S when you can panic.

They learned last year that winning awards but the Cup doesn't mean jack.

To be completely honest, they were pretty invisible all playoffs - especially during the Boston series.

RiceIntegraRS 03-04-2012 01:18 PM

Everyone was invisible against the Boston series. Plus most of the Sedins production comes on the powerplay. Which sucks cause teams can either play really discipline or the refs can decide on whether or not to call penalties or not. I hate to throw this out there but i dont think its a coincidence that the Canucks have been getttin less Powerplays right after the Boston game.

They need to learn how to dominate even strength, can't always rely on the PP to win you games.

That's my point brah. People can say they're just saving up for the playoffs this year, but I really hope this is the case, or else we're fucked.

Ronin 03-04-2012 01:42 PM

Bieksa's kids are awesome.

Obviously, but u cant just say "learn how to dominate 5v5" and just expect it just to happen. The one thing i see the Sedins constantly do is just look for each other on the ice and no one else. Its getting really predictable, especially on the powerplay. Someone mentioned it earlier but this is where Samuellson would come in and help change the Sedins game abit. Im hoping Kassian is the answer but im thinking a guy like Bitz would be better, or Hansen who had some chemistry with them. That way Burrows can play with Kesler and hopefully help out his game abit. I like how the Canucks can easily juggle the lines up and get a spark going from that

Disappointing game last night. Bad start right off the get go and got worst when Lu decided to play handball instead of covering the puck after losing his stick. Thought we still had a chance after the first but looks like Miller's fully recovered from his concussion.

Let's hope the boys regroup, work on the PP before Dallas.

Oh, and can't believe I would rather have Cole and Neale over Dork Lee and Urkel Weekes.

I agree they haven't been playing well. Most noticeable in their passes not being sharp or accurate. Let's hope it's just temp.

Yep. I do like how we have the option and time to make adjustments before the playoffs.

hard to say they were invisible when henrik set a club record with 12 points in 5 games against the sharks. any time the game turns into a tight defensive checking one, they struggle but this isn't a one line team right? it was mentioned, but everyone struggled in the boston series and we were pretty damn beat up.

How does being back to back Art Ross winners have anything to do with them performing poorly in the playoffs? They had a decent series against Chicago, bad series against Nashville imo, good series against the Sharks, and a horrible series against Boston. Whatever though, I'll hold off my judgments till the playoffs come around. Like jeedee said, that's when it really matters.

Henrik Sedin
2010-11 Playoffs 25 GP 3 G 19 A 22 P
Daniel Sedin
2010-11 Playoffs 25 GP 9 G 11 A 20 P

Did you forget already that Henrik basically did in the SanJose series what Kesler did against Nashville?

"In the third round against the San Jose Sharks, Henrik established a single-game Canucks playoff record with four assists in Game 4, leading the Canucks to a 4–2 win. With his third assist of the game, Henrik set another team record with his 16th assist of the 2011 playoffs, surpassing Pavel Bure's mark set in 1994. With San Jose facing elmination the following game, Henrik recorded two more assists for his 11th and 12th points in the series, tying Bure for most in a single round by a Canucks player. Vancouver won the game 3–2 in double-overtime to advance to the Stanley Cup Finals."

'invisible' :fuckthatshit::seriously:

...

The point total can be a bit deceiving because how many of those points came from multipoint games where we had the game in the bag already. How many times were they held scoreless when we lost. I guess what the other guy meant was the Sedins have yet to have a Conn Smythe effort. I'm not saying they are useless as they were vital in the team reaching the finals.

Pretty much this. I guess a lot of fans got frustrated because the Sedins did not live up to their regular season standards in the postseason. They were invisible for a lot of the games, especially when the going got tough.
