Bypassing Immobilizer

My gf's parents have a 03 Suzuki Aerio , I believe there's an aftermarket alarm with an immobilizer, the alarm has gone haywire and won't let the car start, and the doors lock and unlock themselfs, is there anyway to just turn off / disable the immobilizer so it will just start? Or do I need someone to come down and uninstall the whole alarm. Ill try to get the specs of the alarm but I think its some old crappy one.

I would just try and take the power fuse for the alarm out. If it's a cheap install, it shouldn't be hard to find the main box and the fuse that supplies the power to it. Had to do the same thing to my dad's Bronco II, it had the same problems.

There's usually a valet switch somewhere in the car that serves as an emergency override depending on the type of alarm.

Or you can try removing the fuse for the alarm. Usually on the harness of the alarm brain. But this might not work depending on your alarm.

As an alternative, you can always have somebody come by and disable the alarm for you if the valet or fuse pulling does not work. Not sure who else offers mobile work but I know that we do.

Call the Alarm manufacturer. I had a problem with my old Clifford alarm and they walked me threw how to disable it over the phone.
