Honda Armrest

I have a Honda civic hatch cx and it doesn't have a armrest, and I was planning to get an armrest off craiglist and was wondering do I need anything specific other then the armrest console? Does my car already have brackets that guide the ebrake?

TIA

i'm not sure which gen civic you have but it's usually a straight bolt in.

for EK hb, it connects to the centre console/cupholder no problem. EF hb never came with a cupholder but the one from a DC2 can be modified to fit. i'm not too sure about EG hb's though. in any case, there shouldn't be any parts needed for the ebrake.

for EG you can use the arm rest from the 4dr :)
