Alignment places open late?
 

im installing some lowering springs on my car over the next couple of days and im going to need an alignment when im done. the problem is i dont get off work until 5:30pm which is when most shops close. i also dont want to drive very far as my camber will be completely off does anyone know of any place in east van that would be open until 7:30pm or 8pm? or a place that would be open during the day on friday (canada day)?

Call gearheads, I believe they close at like 7?

do they have a website you know of? or a phone number? i couldnt find them in google...

With lowering springs unless you're going for an extreme drop you'll be fine not getting your alignment asap.

the problem is im coming from an extreme drop. the car has coil sleeves but the ride is too stiff so im "raising" the car with lowering springs. not to mention im changing my front struts which are 1/2" longer then my old ones...

driving 30km or so will NOT screw up anything on your car considering the changes you're making.. . just go there and stop worrying so much! :)

Couldn't you get a coworker to drive you during lunch etc. and after work to pick up the car? Buy them lunch or something, or if you are :alone: you can drop off your car earlier since most tire places open pretty early like 7:30-8 AM and hop on a bus or just walk to work, I wouldn't be surprised if there is an alignment place near where you work that's open early, heck they might be done before you have to go to work.

i work at 7am and i dont get off until 5:30 pm. i also work near anacis island which is atleast 30-40km from my house. as for driving it very far my toe angle is going to be completely off and from what ive herd it can cause damage to my new wheel bearings.

Your overthinking this majorly, driving without an allignment after a moderate change in ride height isn't enough to cause major damage to your suspension, just take the advice you've been given.

Your concern is ironic, considering any lowered car is being abused every time it's driven compared to leaving it stock height.

Do it on a Saturday or Sunday. Lowering springs wont make your car turn left when you steer right. :troll:

Lol that's what happens when you google sometimes... I once had a burning sensation while taking a leak, googled why, all the different sources said bladder infection, doctor told me I had a bad night sleep and that was all, and he was right.

im not worried about that... im worried about my camber bolts not being set properly. long story short i need this done before the weekend. im going to take the morning off of work on thursday and try and get it done at comptech performance on west 4th st.

car is being raised atleast an inch, if not a little more...
