clear coat q

hey all... got a question regarding professional grade clear coat. the dealership i work at was throwing away a ton of autobody paint and clear coats so i grabbed (with permisssion.lol) as much as i could to use for my civic. just so happens i pick up a CF hood that needs to be recleared. i found some stage one clearcoat. would i be able to use this stuff for my hood?

what tools would i need and what steps should i take to do this properly. i know there are topics explaining how to clear coat but they use the spray can stuff. i have my clear coat in a tub. too bad i couldnt just pour and watch it dry.lol.

any experienced painters or bodyppl's help would be great!:)

on a side note does anyone know if a can of already mixed/tinted auto paint be retinted into something darker (e.i. white auto paint tinted to black)?

thanks in andvanced....

We can fix most oxidized hoods without sanding and clear coat. PM me if you are interested in this service.
