please do not go to costco or walmart to mount tires on your expensive 19" wheels
i'd be surprised if they even had the equipment to attempt such a thing.

but those who have $4000 +++ a set of rims, seriously pay the correct amount of money and get it mounted right.


the labor, shops time, good tire mounting machine costs $20g +, material etc.

people are so cheap these days

I know they are expensive rims and trust me if I could I'd pay whatever the cost to get them properly installed, balanced, etc. However I just got them taken off my all seasons, had my oems taken off my winters and then placed back into summers. All of it costing over 300$ only to not be put in a situation where I have to do it all over again. I'm just trying to save a bit of money, and yes I know when you have 4000$ rims and 70K car it's stupid to be thinking about saving money. Thank you for everyone that replied to the thread.

I recommend the speed syndicate because they handled my rims very well and are down to earth guys. Great experience there and have been going to them more than 4 times already.

150 a set is already a pretty fair price for 19s. if you save an extra 20-30 by taking it somewhere cheaper, thats not really worth scratching a $1000 rim is all im saying.

I don't know man... I just started doing tires about 6 months ago and can dismount/mount new low profile tires on my 15's and balance in about 45 minutes. And I'm not even that good.

what do u consider low profile?

try doing 35 series runflats... eg a 285/35/20 RUN FLATS... you will want to cry!

or 285/25/20 regular tires, however on an aftermarket 20x11... you will want to cry!

I just bought a set of michellin x-ice for 770 after taxes its gonna be put on my 2001 mazda tribute do you guys have any recommendations for where to mount these snow tires?

speed syndicate. did mine in a jiffy and extremely professional work even when it was my tire's issue, they re-balanced it for free.

I've had good experience with National Tire Wholesale in Burnaby. $20/ wheel and I was mounting on 19s. Been there several times.
