its all good...he was drunk ...so he had it coming....

He was dead from the moment they came up with that plan to bring the building down.

Not likely he would have lived if he stayed in the cabin either.

MelonBoy 06-29-2011 10:11 PM

I think there would have been a chance if he had that shit on reverse (or forward) assuming those things can do a 360 anyways...

Darwinism would be seeing an operator/owner in a country like Canada opt to not utilize the proper equipment available, ignore the various safety regulations, ignore the employment protections provided to the operator, etc and witness this occur. In some places in the world, like where I assume this video was shot, the smartest, safest, lawful choices aren't an option.

Like I said on the previous page: working in a third world country (which I assume is the situation here) the risks are worth it when its a matter of being able to put food on the table or starving. His bosses likely knew of safer techniques to bring down a building but opted for a cheaper route, not caring for the well being of the operator.

I have a heavy duty mechanic buddy who has worked in third world countries and has seen operations where the employer has all the safety equipment and proper tools for the job locked away while the employees are left make due with whatever they can find or adapt to the job. This is because the employer doesn't want his equipment broken or stolen, costing him money.
