Another Starbuck Promo July 18 - Sept. 5

Just read a memo at work. Promo runs from July 18th til Sept. 5th (if i recall correctly, or later).

Buy a drink before 2pm at regular price, bring the receipt back to a Starbucks on the same day after 2pm and get any cold beverage for $2.

For example, Kids Hot Chocolate will cost you $1 + taxes. Now go back after 2pm and order a Venti whatever cold drink you want for $2 + taxes. Not a bad deal for $3.

On my memo, it had Brentwood written on it. But I am certain that all Starbucks, other than the licensed bullshit stores, will be participating in it.

Enjoy Starbuck-a-holics.

Lol that is true. But you'll be sure to get one during this promo. If they forget you can always ask for one. They can't say no. We have a just say yes policy.

I have a better plan, for that time why not be the coffee jockey at your work. You dont have to buy anything and you keep the reciept and go back later. And its an excuse to be out of work for a long time in the summer.

For office slaves like me, this definitely will have good results. I seldom go back to the same coffee place twice in a day, but I definitely do the "drip coffee in the morning followed by an afternoon iced coffee" routine in the summer.

Yup, all corporate stores will have this "treat receipt" promo.

I think we also did it last year but my store wasn't as busy. Lots of people just give away their receipts because they know they won't come back so you can hang around and ask people for their receipts and most will give it to you.

Result is a $2 iced venti tea lemonade or $2 venti fappuccino or $2 iced venti white mocha.

If you only want to make the one trip, you could always go just before 2, buy a drink and wait until 2 to get the second drink. Might be helpful if you're with another person.

Also as the promo goes on, most employees that don't drink the kool-aid will get tired as fuck of repeating the promo so just ask them for a receipt if it's not mentioned.

Asking for receipt?

Do you go to famous players and ask for movie ticket stubs so you can use it for the restaurant promos?
