I know it's a show car and it's not driven much, but after putting so much time and effort into the engine it's a shame to see it run without an air filter. Couldn't you mount a foam filter cut to the same diameter of the turbo inlet inside a silcone coupler and pop it on and off for shows? |

honestly, all you need is just some chicken wire and some pantyhose overtop of it, pretty much just to protect it from big objects, any dust / bugs / dirt that goes in there will get vaporized anyway, look at your intake filter next time, all that shit would burn up through the motor if it sucked it in. also, dyno numbers mean nothing, its all about quarter mile times, must go to mission. |

Dust/sand/small particles wreak havoc on your valve seats. If it were a show car driven to/from shows it would be OK, but since you drive it a lot you should really try to get something on there. Even if it is a sock for now. Chicken wire + pipercross would be the best bet (otherwise it would just suck into the turbo). |
