That's the best we can do other than pantyhose

You should try to make something fit. You aren't doing your valve seats any favors.

I hope the weather doesn't get too shitty.

yeah...some ppl like me got even more extreme at the show this time....we got the fender painted the night before and we were wet sanding it at the show..10am in the morning !! hahhaa

wrong wheel drive ??? 300whp is nothing...u are right !! but it's faster then 98hp stock

and kevin at evolution will be tuning the car to 400whp and adding different boost level to different gears, to maximize traction :)

what's the name of the purple paint you got?
never thought that colour will fly on subcompacts..but looks good on your Fit

purple paint ??? u mean the colour on the valve cover ?? that's NEO-CHROME done with a 8 step chroming process.
it's NOT paint.

SSR (SpeedStarRacing) in Cali did it for me......15weeks wait tho...:(

+1

I know it's a show car and it's not driven much, but after putting so much time and effort into the engine it's a shame to see it run without an air filter.

Couldn't you mount a foam filter cut to the same diameter of the turbo inlet inside a silcone coupler and pop it on and off for shows?

...it's actually not a show car...and was never intended specifically to be a show only car......i just love hanging out a shows, and this is my daily driver every single day.

honestly, all you need is just some chicken wire and some pantyhose overtop of it, pretty much just to protect it from big objects, any dust / bugs / dirt that goes in there will get vaporized anyway,

look at your intake filter next time, all that shit would burn up through the motor if it sucked it in.

also, dyno numbers mean nothing, its all about quarter mile times, must go to mission.

Wow! It's awesome to hear that it's actually your daily, so few people put that amount of effort into a car and continue to drive it. I'm even more impressed than I was before.

Btw, your fit is on my phones background picture right now :)

Yeah, you want to filter as much as you can. Maybe try to find a Pipercross filter that will fit. Or an HKS mushroom style filter.

Dust/sand/small particles wreak havoc on your valve seats. If it were a show car driven to/from shows it would be OK, but since you drive it a lot you should really try to get something on there. Even if it is a sock for now. Chicken wire + pipercross would be the best bet (otherwise it would just suck into the turbo).

completely untrue. Please don't talk about stuff you have no clue about.

thanks
