FS: 540whp Volvo 240 Wagon, S80 Turbo Inline 6 swap
 

Easily one of the most powerful and highly modified Volvos in North America.
There's too much to list, but here are the basics:

Car:
- 1983 Volvo 245 Shell from California
- Repainted Mercedes metallic black
- Rear fender arches cut out and widened 2.5" per side with sheetmetal
- Koni Sport adjustable shocks and struts all round
- Coilover conversion in front
- All polyurethane bushings
- IPD Panhard and Torque rods
- Ford 8.8 rear end custom narrowed, 31 spline axles and disc brakes, ford motorsport clutch type limited slip with carbon/kevlar clutches
- Custom mounted Recaro sports seats in excellent condition
- R-sport steering wheel
- Perfect black dash.
- Euro lights and custom front air dam
- 18x8 front and 18x10 rear forged 3 piece Blitz Technospeed wheels.
- 355x32mm (14" rotor) Brembo Gran Tourismo big brake kit.

Engine:
- Fully rebuilt engine from 1999 Volvo S80 Twin Turbo - Forged H-Beam connecting rods, new mahle pistons. (2.8L inline 6, DOHC 24V)
- Euro spec M90 5 speed manual gearbox
- Sachs Motorsport Clutch
- Custom tubular exhaust manifold with 60mm Wastegate and Holset HX40 Pro Turbocharger
- Custom Sheetmetal aluminum intake manifold with Ford 75mm throttle body
- VEMS Programmable standalone engine management system
- 3" Stainless downpipe, to 3" aluminum exhaust.

Car made 540whp/467ft-lb on 22psi running pump gas + methanol injection. It's simply mind bending and will humble nearly any muscle car you will ever come across (540whp is over 600hp at the crank).

It has it's rattles and squeaks, paint is decent but not perfect, rear wiper and sunroof don't work, needs some small things. But good luck finding anything that has the performance of this car at anywhere near this price. :)

$12k obo. Mainly want it to got to a good home. This would make an insane drift or drag or autocross car.

Would also be willing to part it if someone wanted like the whole driveline or something.

Anything kinda cool, either your vehicle + cash or I can add cash on my side you have something really baddass (think E30 M3 or E28 M5 or M535i here).

So yeah, an E30 or E28, Audi URS4 or S6, Mercedes 190E 16v, (W124) 500E, I dunno. Something interesting/cool/wierd and mid 80's-early 90's.
