I don't follow baseball but apparently the ball is Jeter's 3000th hit AND it was a home run. That's going to be a valuable piece of baseball history given Jeter's status. Depending on how his career winds down, it could be worth hundreds of thousands if not more in the future. Guy did the right thing though. |

^ if Miller pays IRS directly, instead of giving Lopez funds - Lopez is in the clear :). There is no law as far as i that disallows a 3rd party from paying your tax bill. IRS just wants the money - from someone - does not matter who :). |
