Do I need to repaint my eibach lowering springs? Hi I am wondering if I need to powercoat or paint my eibach lowering springs when some areas of the paint on the springs are peeling off. http://i621.photobucket.com/albums/t...4/DSC01544.jpg http://i621.photobucket.com/albums/t...4/DSC01545.jpg |

You don't need to but it wouldn't hurt to prevent them from rusting any further. Don't bother powDer coating them again since it would probably cost half as much as a new set of springs. Take a wire wheel to the rusty parts and feather into the good parts of the coating, then repaint. |

Sand or bead blast them, easier to get between the curls. Use a epoxy paint if you can. |
