professional resume and coverletter

has anyone had a professional resume and cover letter made?

from where and how much does it cost to get them done?

Just write one yourself. No one knows you better than you. It's all about listing achivements and what you did for the company and what you learned. A mistake a lot of people make, myself included until recently is just listing duties of prior jobs. A future employer could care less about a long list. You need to set yourself apart from others. I've spent the last few days re-doing my resume with a bit of time here and there when I thought of different things.

if you need someone to write a resume/cover letter for you, then you've already failed

Write it yourself.

Google resumes and cover letters for similar jobs and use that as a resource.

What people are saying is you need to write your own because employers who go through hundreds of resumes can easily tell if the cover letter is just a nicely done template no matter how professional it sounds.

I'm an electrician, too. (well, 1 more week until im finished my 4th year at bcit) When I was updating my resume what I actually did was just look at craigslist for examples of other people's resumes as examples or templates. Of course, I used my own honest information, but looked at other people's to see how I can make mine better than theirs.

There are free resources out there, places where you can show your resume and the people will help look at your resume.

Also, when I printed out resumes I made sure to use high quality paper. Don't use crap cheapo paper.
