No, of course it's not the end of her life. But obviously - there should still be a financial return. They screwed up. Imagine someone drove over your foot, and you lost your pinky toe. Is it the end of your life? No. But should you receive financial compensation? yes. There's no money in the world that can give her the half-colon back, but she deserves to be paid.

Just as a note... the most she could make from non-pecuniary aka "pain and suffering" would be around $332,231.40.

This isn't the USA, so we don't have the multi-million-dollar awards.
