Is cruel to punish your attacker? Maybe.. But is it necessary? Absolutely.
I think that when a society is SO lenient and does not offer any sort of punishment, or the punishment is so lightweight .. that within it self is a HUGE crime and offense.
Where's our pro call of duty player that just killed 81 people.. oh yea, watching him self on a 40" screen HD TV in a very comfortable setting.
The prison there looks amazing .. better than some homes in many parts of the world.. so what sort of justice is that..
If it were up to me, I cannot hide it.. I will be honest. I would gladly make each and every offender pay. If the offense is stealing food.. I'd give the man some food so he never has to steal again. If the man rapes a child and kills a mother... unrelenting torture for (I'm being serious here) at least 20 years of his life. Keep him alive by all means and then after the 20 year ordeal, rape him with something, then slowly gut him so he can watch it all and then in the end piss on him and kill him by making him eat his feces and IV some urine into his blood stream. That is justice whether we like it or not. It's barbaric in some peoples eyes.. but the most barbaric thing to me is letting assholes get away with shit.
If I was that woman, I would not have forgiven my attacker. |
