Cars with automatic wipers and turn signals?

This might be a dumb question, but do anyone know any make / model, that could

1) Activate windshield wipers on as it senses rain coming (yes I know about speed-sensing wipers, and no that's not what I am referring to here)

2) Activate turn signals as steering wheel gets rotated.

I highly doubt such functions exist, but thought I should at least ask.

Lots of new vehicles have rain sensing wipers... but there's no such thing as a car that would signal when turning the wheel.... that would defeat the purpose of signaling....

To me, these functions are pretty pointless and self-defeating as well.

But my friend insisted that I ask anyway, so here goes LOL.

ask your "friend" what the fuck the point of signalling would be if you're already turning.... I'm pretty sure the person he is cutting off will be well aware of it whether or not the signal is on...

LOL I guess many people on RS simply aren't capable of speaking a single sentence without some kind of profanity.

Besides trash talking, what else do you do for a living? Hahaha.

The whole point of turn signals is to "signal" to on coming traffic or behind you that you are ABOUT TO MAKE a lane change or turn.

If a signal is activated when during the lane change or turn (in the instance the steering wheel is rotated as you mentioned), its already too late to signal, making it pointless and dangerous.

using a profanity just emphasizes it, makes it a bit more humourous as well.

When asking your friend the question, you don't need to include the "fuck".

Is your "friend" one of those fuckers that signal last minute, or don't even signal at all when making a right turn, although clearly seeing me waiting to turn left from the opposite direction?

the 'turn signal while steering gets rotated' function would get pretty annoying on winding roads with lots of twisties LOL

I've got a better idea.

How about a car that when you signal, it turns the steering wheel for you? Solves the problem of not signalling before turning.

Lol, I can just picture this now. people will drive with the signal stick instead of the wheel.

The time between you "signal" and turn should also vary depending on condition and speed you travel. There is no way to correlate the two. If the wheel turns automatically after you make a signal, its an accident waiting to happen.

Shoulder check often?
