Wheel Paint
 

Help.

I curbed my rim.... sanded it down, putty it etc etc and then decided to use a spray can to paint over the putty.

Unfortunately i did a horrible job in masking my wheel that some of the paint got on other parts of the rim. :failed:

does anybody know if there is a shop that would repaint the rims of your car that is exactly if not pretty close to the oem colour?

Is there another way i can remove those excess paint without removing the oem paint on the rim?

what other parts did you overspray on? if it's like a chrome dish or something, you can easily steel wool it off! need moar info of where you oversprayed though..

Claybar it off, that's what it for. Take some patience though. I bought the Mothers kit off Cambodian tire. I oversprayed everywhere when spraying my trunk and they do come off using the claybar.

If you press the clay too hard and it leaves scratches just use the Meguiars (sp?) Ultimate Compound (it's a rubbing and polishing compound) and give a little rub. That stuff is jesus.

Western Wheelcraft charges $150-175 per wheel and they can match colours.
