Hmmm, looks interesting!!!!

When the teaser trailer came out I was a bit skeptical...but when I saw the official trailer come on during a commercial it was fuckin awesome.

I just hope it doesn't turn out to be overhyped like Battle LA...

cressydrift 08-07-2011 10:19 AM

^ agreed

At least it will be some what original.

LiquidTurbo 08-08-2011 10:46 AM

However it has been promoted as a "found footage" film that does not use actors. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Dimension Films head Bob Weinstein denied the film was a work of fiction, stating that “We didn’t shoot anything, we found it. Found baby!” [6][7] The film will be distributed by Dimension Films.[8]

WTF?
lol.

cressydrift 08-08-2011 07:55 PM

^ Nice marketing pitch....

WTF?
lol.

Of course... that's why it needs a director, two screenwriters, set decorator, costumer, makeup department, a half-dozen producers, two dozen VFX guys... and a casting department.

Because you still need a casting department when you have no actors, and a VFX squad that would make James Cameron spooge, to work with "found" footage.

Edit: okay, watched the trailer... Blair Moon Project?

LiquidTurbo 08-11-2011 10:45 PM

I actually want to watch this movie. It has a lot of potential I think for a genre that is getting tired. Inventive plot, IMO.

hotjoint 08-12-2011 07:03 AM

looks interesting

Fuhrėr-Z 09-02-2011 06:37 PM

I'm gonna guess that this film won't be very good, based on the terrible trailer... Also really tired of the mystery monster genre....The payoff has been lackluster in almost every film of the sub-genre lately.

mkings 09-02-2011 07:08 PM

Looks interesting, would suck to be them

Kamui712 09-03-2011 12:15 AM

Blair witch 2011

maxxxboost 09-03-2011 04:54 PM

anyone watch it yet? On rotten tomatoes, the critics didn't like it while the audience said it was good.
