I couldn't look away, ended up watching the whole thing. I feel bad for the people who got hurt in some of those accidents but it was sure entertaining lol

For example, if you've only driven in north america I bet you would probably hit your car one way or the other if you're driving in taiwan...from super tight parking spaces, to mopeds that surround your cars like flies and everyone drives bumper to bumper in the city.
Don't let the richmond c-lais represent all asians when it comes to driving..nor the idiots in this video.

If I complied a video of car accidents from any country it would look like the folks from that country can't drive for shit.

Pretty much. Defensive driving is lacking here.

So how does it work in Asia? Do you just stand in a line and when you get to the front they say "Congratulations! Heres your new drivers licence!" with no testing whatsoever?

Haha, some of those were so WTF.

I've spent a bunch of time in Regina over the last couple months and I think the drivers there are worse then anything in the lower mainland. It's like driving miss daisy meets Ray Charles. I'm pretty sure Rainman could drive better then most the people there and he was a Re Tard.

yarachi 08-14-2011 02:30 PM

thought it was a person lying on the highway at 4:17 , after pausing it it.... no LOlzzz , which country was that shot in?

Dinan3 08-14-2011 08:39 PM

I thought I was a good driver until I visited Taiwan last year and thought to myself there's no way I can drive my car there with mass scooters cutting you off left and right.

Absolutely right on. I was there for a grand total of maybe 50 minutes about three weeks ago and I was lucky to get out of there without being hit.

Regina is like the vagina of Canada when it comes to driving.

insomniacRA 08-14-2011 10:17 PM

op should change the subject to driving in china and korea

Can't agree more. I just came back from Beijing and Hong Kong. First time in Beijing and first time in Hong Kong since I was like 7 so just over 20 years ago. Prior to that my only experience of the world is North America and Mexico. I was initially shocked at the driving in Beijing and the way they don't obey any rules and the limited use of brakes. Regardless of the situation on the road, the car for the most part is always moving even if it means driving in an incoming lane, either way the goal clearly seemed to be to always move. After getting used to it and witnessing and experiencing a lot of close calls I started thinking, shiet these guys have mad skills to be able to avoid all these close calls with ease and no panic. If most of these situations came up in Vancouver surely there would be accidents everywhere.

MG1 08-15-2011 02:25 PM

^^^ makes total sense.

dignatas 08-15-2011 02:52 PM

like vietnam where the motorcycles are?

Boostslut 08-15-2011 07:08 PM

I gotta agree, coming from a white guy from Vancouver and traveling through Asia and other places i gotta admit that alot of asian drivers are fantastic. Places like Hong Kong the taxi drivers are awesome. No matter what, you'll get to where your supposed to go. Did they break a few rules? Ya, most likely but who cares.

Of course there are a few that aren't so good all over the world, but they are the exception and the ones that get talked about most.

I got a love/hate relationship with these types of videos. Pisses me off seeing some of these douche canoes do something stupid like cutting somebody off causing them to crash while they get away untouched. Even worse that stupid truck failing to stop for that lady crossing the street. Next upgrade: Video Cam in the car.
