Long Term Tire Storage Okay, this might seem like a daft question, but oh well... :lol I have an en extra set of tires that will be stored long term (at least 2 years). Would it be better to keep them outside (but out of the elements) or inside? Or does it really even matter? I don't want the tires to dry out to the point where they become unusable. |
inside it always better after two years in the sun and rain the odds are the tires will start cracking. |
room temp...somewhere dark I wrap my hoosiers in black bags and store in heated crawl space. |
Is there any particular reason why you want to keep these tires stored for so long? Wouldn't it make more sense to sell them now and just buy new tires 2 years from now? |
