or You just wanna run SC2, MW2, BF2 ...700 bux PC will be good enough.

Depends on the Game, the system requirement is totally Differentttttt......

You got my point ?
I play Watcher 2 and high settings with no issue and my pc cost me maybe like $800lish

go to ncix, tell them your budget and what you want to do with it and they'll build you something better then what futureshop has for less money.

Or you can ask the RS gurus about building one...

Then go to pricebat.ca and other matching sites and get the best deal possible.

Either way, I would never buy a comp from FS/BB or any of the major sellers just because their set-ups are absolute garbage.

are you just ignoring everything i write? i never said my system was gonna run everything. i just said it doesn't cost $700 to build a computer to play sc2. i have no interest in running new fps games. i don't care.

lol, even my E6700 oc'ed at 3.6ghz can play SC2 smoothly without max setting

But
what if the OP wants to play new FPS games ?

For real, there is no point posting here without what OP wants to play...

Dont you think !?

Phenom X4 955 > $120
mobo > $80
500GB HD > $40
4GB Ram > $40
GTX 460 > $120 (NCIX has it for $95 after MIR)
Generic case + PSU > $50
Total $450 or less
ideally, you can save even more going with a slightly cheaper CPU and mobo.

I have a similar spec system and I can run sc2 at 1080p ultra, play 4v4 and FPS rarely goes under 30
I can also play bfbc2 at max setting (except max AA/AS) at good framerate

NCIX is the way to go. If you can find someone on RS or something who can build you one, even better. But generally the computers NCIX have are at a fair price. Don't bother going to Futureshop/bestbuy, they will only fail you, and take your money away

Wouldn't bother with the 2600K, get a 2500K instead.

Assuming you won't be overclocking (based on the motherboard choice) so no need for a 3rd party cooler

See if that extra budget savings can get you a better video card (not that your choice is bad, but you should always put as much into the video card as possible)

i;d stay away from the WD black. couple of reviews say its loud as hell. if you want speed, go SSD. 128gb is the sweet spot.
otherwise, go for a WD green

For a moderate OC like that, you don't need a super high end board. I am currently testing the Gigabyte ga-z68ma-d2h-b3 and hitting 4.3 or so is as simple as hitting the "Turbo" button. But you will run into heat issues with the onboard components if you try to push the voltage to the CPU's limit to reach higher clock speeds. For the explanation as to why, wait for the review
