Connecting 2 LCDs to laptop

Sorry if this has been answered before, but I'm trying to connect 2 LCDs to my laptop so that my desktop can extend across all 3 screens (the 2 LCDs and the laptop screen). I can physically connect the cables (1 LCD using VGA + the other LCD using DVI) but I can't display on all 3 at the same time, just 2 at a time.

I need a new laptop anyway, so can you guys recommend a laptop that can display on 2 external LCDs + the laptop screen all at the same time? (Note I don't want to repeat the stuff on my laptop screen on the other 2 LCDs, I need to extend my desktop across them)

All the monitors you ever want to plug. Just use this. Multi Monitor Adapter for Maximum Performance | TripleHead2Go

At work we just grabbed a USB to video "card" off NewEgg, so far they work great. I think it's by Sabrent.

If you're going to buy a new laptop anyways, just buy a desktop instead. The idea of using 2 monitors on a laptop is silly, since the whole idea of a laptop is to be mobile. Plus with the savings you could buy 3 equally sized monitors and a desktop, instead of 2 monitors, a laptop, and a USB video card.

Keep your existing laptop and remote into your desktop when you want to be mobile.
