Banned from youtube.

youtube mods are more fucked than rs mods (lol).

anyone else banned? i duno what kinda fuckin logic they have. im just venting.

so i upload a buncha music, with a backdrop of a woman leaning over a record player, and yes, one of her nipples is exposed.

i get some kinda warning after a few months. It mentions that my video has been reported and is deemed inappropriate for minors or something rather, and an 18+ tag is enabled on the video.

ok fine i think to myself, all my vids can have that 18+ flag tag enabled, i don't mind.

naturally I think if anything more gets reported, 18+ flag will be put on my vids right?

ok so i get another report a few months later on a different video, it says it is inappropriate (same backdrop picture), but this time, the video is removed, and I have a "6 month warning strike". I have to basically stay report free for 6 months until that warning goes away. ok whatever.

few months later, i get a second warning, cuz some other dumb fuck decided to report another video (with the same picture). alright, so this time, the video gets removed, AND, my ability to edit my videos or access "my channel" (or anybody else's channel) is removed. they say after 14 days, I will be able to access my account again. they also warn me if i get another report, I will be banned forever.

12 days later, someone reports me and I get banned.

K, so how the fuck am i supposed to remove my videos when I cannot edit my videos?

some of you may argue, after my first "real" warning I should have removed all my videos. but you must understand these reports were sparse, and I wouldn't of guessed the second report immediately removed my rights to edit my videos. Also all my videos were uploaded within a relatively short period of time, i didn't continue to upload these videos after my first report.

anyway. i submitted an appeal, lets see what these billion dollar assholes have to say.

Your fault for using the same picture :lol

I was thinking it'd be ironic if he was banned from here for posting about being banned elsewhere :D

Hondaracer 08-28-2011 01:11 PM

I have videos of mine on YouTube that are far worse and were even offered into the revenue sharing thing but deemed not suitable for ad's lol, all of the videos are now private but they were public for like 3-5 years

Those other videos aren't "allowed", they just haven't been removed... probably because nobody cared to report it.

Even though they may be a lot more graphic than your videos, the difference is the audience.

People come to your videos because they want to listen to the song. They don't want an image of a naked woman, even if it's just a single nipple showing. These people would report your video.

The people that go to the Japanese death metal band video didn't go there by accident - they know what they were in for before they clicked on the video. These people would not report the video.

Not sure your appeal will get anywhere... there is like no real "support" for YouTube whatsoever.

Ulic Qel-Droma 08-30-2011 11:31 PM

^
there's 580 000+ views over like 5 years. you dont think 1 person reported it? there are people that would report that for the hell of reporting it, hell i'll make a new account and report it just for the hell of it... and nothing will happen.

dude, if you really think out of 5 years, and half a million people, that 0 reported the video... i didn't find that video myself, i went there by accident. tons of ppl went there by accident, all of you guys did.

LiquidTurbo 09-18-2011 10:55 AM

Ulic,

I came across this video on youtube, totally reminded me of this thread.. that will surely make you rage. Also one of the most bizarre videos on youtube. LOL. But it's 'art'.

NSFW
