apparantly the air has to flow to the bottom part of the bumper for the hybrid motors and the regular sonatas didnt have enough air flow going in the front bumper for hybrid motors, hence they changed it a little bit.

I guess the front end of the first gen genesis will shoot up in price later on....better stock up while you can.

I like the current one the most, but I think this new bumper can grow on me eventually. Kind of looks like the Lancer/Evo

That's technically second gen! Well fascia was changed, but to most it was the 2nd gen before the "tuscani" really became popular.

First gen actually looked a bit better, however I was a proud 2nd gen owner.

Having moved away from the Hyundai brand, I am quite excited to see the Genesis making heads turn. I'd gladly buy a Genesis if I could afford another horse in the stable.
