The kid is three and can't talk, according to father. Family of 8 kids......... the kid mute?

Don't get me wrong, I'm glad the kid is safe at home, but something ain't right.

definitely something is up. maybe it was a family member instead of hopley and now they're not letting the kid talk for fear of implicating one of their own.

or maybe the kid has got a medical/mental condition.

i like my theory better. lol.

StylinRed 09-11-2011 02:50 PM

http://movieboozer.com/wp-content/up.../image0052.jpg

and magically reappeared home

LsquareD 09-11-2011 03:01 PM

Michael Jackson's ghost? :troll:

Ok jokes aside..

Yeah it's messed up how he just returned home middle of the night by a "suspect" without being seen or heard :fulloffuck:

Well.. In the end, the kid is safe and is in good health and that's all that matters. Hopefully they'll find the nasty kidnapper and have enough evidence that he did kidnap Kienan.

I remember reading the Vancouver Sun and it said the parents left the doors to the home unlocked because they were afraid of fidgeting with keys at night when they get home. WTF were they thinking about leaving a 3 year old home alone with no doors locked??

Fucking idiots. I'm just glad the kid is back home and hope the parents wake the fuck up

cctw 09-11-2011 03:38 PM

so technically the suspect can enter and leave the house unnoticed?..this doesnt sound right.

Bonka 09-11-2011 04:06 PM

Interested to hear how the RCMP will address this as it doesn't seem so cut and dry. Are they the Springfield Police?

quasi 09-11-2011 04:12 PM

It's not that common but sometimes kids start talking really late. I had a friend whose little brother didn't start talking until he was 4, I thought he was a mute.

Looks like another case for the RS detectives ?!??

I think you misread the article....

While police wouldn't offer any insight about the earlier abduction attempt, Michelle Kaus, who lives less than a block away from Heberts, said her home in Sparwood — about 240 kilometres southwest of Calgary — was broken into the same night Kienan was taken.

Police later told the mother of two that the suspect's footprint was found in her garage. Her children had not been home at the time of the break-in and nothing was stolen except an iPod filled with photos.

"It's really hard to accept that we had a psycho in our house touching our things," she said. "I haven't gone through the kids' stuff, so I don't know if he's taken any toys."

Kaus's children, a son, 4, and a daughter, 2, were visiting their dad in nearby Elkford, B.C., on Tuesday night, leaving the mother free to go out with a friend.

"I left the door unlocked because the outside lights were out and I didn't want to be fumbling in the dark with my keys," she said, adding: "Stupid."

My cousin didn't start talking till he was like 4. My aunt thought he was autistic or something and she got really worried then out of nowhere he started talking and wouldn't stop!

Never seen dexter??

Glad he's back safe though. Catching the guy isn't as important as the kids safety :)

LOL, no off button.

Anyway, this has piqued my interest. Did your cousin at least make sounds? Hum a tune? Whistle? LOL? Cry? Etc............

Was there some trauma involved, like witnessing momma kissing Santa Claus in bed in the middle of summer?

No idea with your first question. They lived in Chicago (:speechless:) at the time LOL. No to your second question - he was responsive whenever they called him, played with him, etc.

Santofu 09-11-2011 08:14 PM

Hearing problems....... makes sense why you couldn't talk.

Did you sign?

Santofu 09-11-2011 08:20 PM

My dad didn't want me to cause he though it was a waste of time to learn. But I should take a class to learn it.

MG1 09-11-2011 08:39 PM

I wish I had learned to sign. I would love to understand what deaf people are saying to each other.

SPARWOOD, B.C. — Police on Monday said they "facilitated" the safe return of Kienan Hebert after he was missing for four days, but would provide few details on how an abductor might have been able to return the three-year-old boy to his B.C. home undetected....

Driving to the Hebert house would have required passing the search-and-rescue command post at the entrance to the suburb, as the community has only one road in to it. :seriously:

...Asked if it's believed Kienan was assaulted at all, sexually or otherwise, Moskaluk said: "He was virtually unharmed. . . . He does not have any physical injuries."
