Does anyone know why gas prices have been on a continuous decrease for the past week? I know obviously it's a good thing but the news I read on gasbuddy keeps saying oil barrel prices are going up...doesn't really make any sense. Any experts out there?

FerrariEnzo 11-02-2011 04:32 PM

the prices of oil was down long ago.. the prices of gas hasnt.. all i can say is Its About Fucking Time

GG 11-02-2011 08:31 PM

fucking gay they jack up the prices when oil has gone down

HondaGuy 11-02-2011 08:52 PM

131.2 this afternoon.

128.9 this evening.

Good to see prices lower... But also makes me believe that a quick uprise might happen soon lol...
Seems like that most of the time.

Why do gas stations do that? Raise the prices during the day, then lower them for the evening. Repeat.

They can make more money with people getting gas on the way to work and on the way home from work.

And commercial drivers who can write off their gas expenses are more likely to get gas during working hours. So why not?

Guess that makes sense... although if I know something's gonna be cheap at a specific time, I'll get it when it's cheap!

hirevtuner 11-03-2011 09:34 AM

gas crept back up from last night, it was 1.28/l this morning like 1.34/l

FerrariEnzo 11-03-2011 11:07 AM

$1.28!!! in Surrey

racerman88 11-19-2011 12:17 PM

Shell in Blaine is 3.73Reg, 3.83 Mid, 3.88 Prem.
If I calculated it right, it works out to 0.99 Reg, 1.01 Mid, 1.03 Prem

racerman88 11-19-2011 12:19 PM

I saw gas at Chevron in Burnaby at 126.9 this morning

SumAznGuy 11-19-2011 04:31 PM

Chevron in Blaine just before PacXing was $3.899, $4.099, and $4.259.
Picked up my snow tires, had 2 McRibs, and didn't pay tax at the border.
What a good day, besides the sun we had as well.
