Best Yellow and White Bulbs Hey, I bet this thread has been made 100 times... I've heard the Philips X-treme halogen bulbs are the brightest and whitest before going to HIDs And I heard PIAA has the best yellow, DRL Lights Just wondering what are you opinions, and where can I get them the cheapest I need 9006 for low 9005 for DRL/HIs |
i heard the same about phillips ! i believe you can only get em from the state though |
I got my philips through ebay, if you make a search I belive that everyone says that philips is the best but something similar to philips xtreme white would probably be piaa xtreme white plus (i've seen them at lordco) or sylvania silverstar (at cambodian tire) im not sure if they can compare though I am also running yellow drls and they're nokyas, you can probably find them at asian car stores for around 40 |
I order from Powerbulbs |
I tried a lot of these bulbs many years ago. Luminics JDM Yellow is really yellow, enough to get me pulled over. Luminics Titanium White is actually nice and white with some blue. Luminics Pure Blue is a lie. It's yellowish white. Luminics Ultra White is a lie too. Nokya Hyper Yellow is somewhat yellow, but nothing compared to Luminics. Sylvania Silverstar is bright, but not white at all. Eurolite Xenon Fusion blue is a lie too. Lastly, all those cheap "JDM" bulbs in honger stores like Aberdeen, Parker, Crystal Mall, Metropolis are lies. They are not yellow or blue or whatever they claim to be. Hope that helps. I spent so much money on these ricer bulbs to experiment and throw away. |
i got eurolite yellow bulbs for drl and they are good |

Not extreme yellow though. |
I have PIAA ion yellow in as my headlights. They project yellow down low onto the road but they look almost white when you look at them from a car driving the other way Posted via RS Mobile |
i think its quite yellow.. very good for its price unless you go piaa in my opinion. |
how much did it cost you guys? I was going to order the Luminics JDM yellow from ebay |
|
You can get Luminics at Lordco. I used to rock both Nokya and Luminics bulbs. Nokya is the way to go between the two but if you want the brightest possible bulbs without going to HIDs (if you do go to HIDs, don't forget the projectors) I would recommend you look into HDR bulbs which are 30% brighter than halogens. Or HIR bulbs, which are considered to be the HIDs of the halogen world. Quote:
