First time watching women's hockey in a long time and the quality of play has gotten WAY better. It's decently watchable now - looks like professional hockey for sure.

Less than 4 mins to go! Let's close it out!

Don't know if there are any aviation nerds here but a LATAM airlines 777-300ER rejected takeoff right at rotation and did a full stop from 178mph in a few thousand feet. That's about 330 tonnes of aircraft. Red hot brakes and the tires blew out at the end.

Lots of foamers here on RS, both for trains and planes.

As for your niche, you're on your own.

I'm curious of any of you folks went on an overseas exchange for school back in the day? Would love to learn of any experiences and stories, both the good and bad. Thanks!

i was only a border line air cadet for a few years but that's eye opening.

didn't know they can be rejected for a flight ...duhh of course they can.
didn't know they stopped it cause of higher than threshold engine temperature - being monitored.. that's crazy.

Aww... don't tell me you've never watched women beach volleyball?

On a more serious note, I used to watch women volleyball (ie. the indoor kind), and it is a far more interesting game to watch than men volleyball. There is just too much focus on power and speed in the men's game, and each rally is generally over a lot quicker, so it isn't as entertaining to watch. On the other hand, women volleyball has a more balanced mixture of the various different plays, so it wasn't just pow-boom and it is over.

I've watched Women World Cup (soccer) games in the past as well, and found the games to be interesting in a different way than the men's game. Again, slower, less power, but more team work and strategy. But in this case, I still enjoy the men's game more.

Haven't really watched any PWHL games yet, so I can't comment on how it compares against the men's game.

I enjoy watching women's tennis more than I do men's tennis - much more action compared to the men's power game where not a lot happens. Helps that some of the ladies are pretty fine too.

And while I find men's golf to be more amazing I can relate to women's golf much more - at least they're hitting distances and shots that I could vaguely imagine myself doing but the men are just playing a totally different game. Some of them are also pretty hot.

I'll watch women's curling sometimes for all the smokeshows! Not sure how or why but a lot of those women's curlers are beautiful. Too bad I have absolutely no interest in the game of curling.
