Good bodyshop for VW? Got in a accident this morning. Got nailed on the back and that make me nailed someone on the back. So looking for a good bodyshop dealing with Vw or European cars. Anyone got any good recommendation? |
why not take the person who nailed you through icbc thus they'll have to pay for it and icbc will recommend some good shops ? |
Well this is my first time being in a 3 ways accident. And i'm on basic insurance as well so i'm pretty sure is gonna come out of my own pocket. Yea yea i know i should had gotten the collision coverage but time's are hard the pass couple months and i just recently got called back to work from a long laid off so i need to cut down on spending and i decided to go for the basic coverage. Knowing that i'm a pretty safe driver i thought that was ok. But i guess Bad luck decided to fuck me in the ass. By the way anyone know if i'm gonna get penalize for hitting the guy in front of me? |
If you were rear ended and that caused you to then rear end someone else, the coverage will all be provided by the person whom initially hit you. As for a reputable shop... VW's are a fairly common car and the repair procedures are standard in the industry. I would recommend pursuing the claim through ICBC (again as you won't be paying) and going with a shop that will guerentee their work and is recomended by ICBC. |
I took my GTI to OpenRoad Richmond Autobody. They are the only western canadian bodyshop certified to repair Audis. I figured they must be good enough to handle my GTI. They did an impeccable job and offer a lifetime guarantee. The downside is that they are very thorough and the claim value can end up being quite high which would thereby affect your resale value. Bavara is also quite good. |

bavara or no1 in my opinion.. i deal with with bodyshop.. |
Definitely take it to Open Road. Although it's just bodywork and most shops with decent skill level would be able to take care your car, taking it to an Audi specialized shop will ensure that your car gets adequately looked at and repaired. Worst feeling after getting your car back repaired is having a doubt in your mind whether the body shop took care of everything. |
Europe Auto Care on Boundary road in Burnaby.... They deal in VWs.... Took my Golf in twice and both times did a awesome job AZ Europe Auto Care |
