Programs for slideshow I was recently at a wedding and was blown away by the slideshow. I have always seen where the slideshow uses a still image and then simply either pans away, out or into the photo and then crossfades into the next photo and so on and so on. This particular slideshow had one photo slide into the frame, and it zoomed out in a motion, and then the next photo could be seen in the background as the previous photo was sliding in a motion effect off the screen. The background of it all used the couples image in a black and white effect, whereas all the other photos were colour. Anyhow, the slideshow was definitely unique and creative. Im wondering if anyone can suggest any slideshow programs that are different as I wouldnt mind testing them out seeing how I have to do one for my little one's 1st bday. I would have asked the photographer but he was quite rude about my inquiry so I thought Id ask here... |
I don't like macs, but i have to say.. it's easier to make a slideshow like the one you're talking about on a mac. |
Picasa from Google rips it up for making slide shows (and doing 1000x other things) |
you can use the iphoto app that cones from the mac (or the suite), let it do the ken burns effect, or the built in effects... ive also used photomagico...its okay.. |
If you want to go real hi end you could use Adobe after effects but it's not for beginners. |
^ What he said. I used to use Adobe Imageready :) time consuming but fun times. |
sine the photographer didnt say the program i think he just used i photo and used the built in effects |
i assume, iphoto is for MAC only...Im a Windows user (unfortunately) |
PREZI is a really cool and fun program for presentations. It's super customizable. It's free for the basic version but that's all you need anyways i think Prezi - The Zooming Presentation Editor It's hard to explain but you should look at some of their sample ones for a better idea |
