Leaving his mentor doesn't mean that hes going to be going against him or cutting ties with him. They'll still be friends and Mike can probably refer more business to Harvey-Specter in the future.
I just think it's a better option overall because once someone starts digging and finds out the truth. His mentor, Harvey, will probably be in as much shit as Mike will be. You can say, if Mike really cared about Harvey, he'd go and take the IB offer, that way he can protect himself and Harvey. |
