Casual shoes for orthotics
 

I'm looking for some everyday casual shoes I can wear that will still fit my new orthotics. I've always worn Pumas, but they aren't exactly compatible with my inserts.

My orthotics fit perfectly in my running shoes and my work boots, but as for walking around, going to school, etc., I don't wear running shoes or my boots.

Anyone know of shoe brands that would work?

Might help if I added that Pumas don't work because they're too narrow

You said it yourself.. Look for a wider shoe.
Skater shoes (DC, Etnies, eS, etc), Nikes, Supras, Adidas.. etc. It's not the brand, it's more the fit.
Puma has some lifestyle shoes that are flatter and wider as well - easier to fit orthos in there.
Creative Recs I find are really stiff, and never really break in. But they do look good lol

yea these supra tk society, currently i have the blue one(wanted black :()... it's really comfortable its a bit pricey but i got it on sale @ DIPT in dt for less than $94, retail price was like $149.99 depending on the model (go to that place during holidays) lots of cushion, so u can break into it easily and very stylish + u got the straps for more support.

In your opinion do you know what a casual walking shoe is?
Just go to any store and look for yourself.

The best way to do this is...

1) go to a store that has shoes
2) find ones you like and that you think would be good to wear with some jeans etc.
3) bring your ortho's and put them in the shoe
4) if they fit and feel comfortable you're good to go, if not, try a different pair

OR

If you still have insurance get another pair of orthotics. I'm sure the ones you have are the athletic sporty ones. They have a wide range of molds for different activities. So that is an option
