Asus GTX 570!

I bought the card today! .. Only to realize that my computer case is half an inch too small to fit the card ...:okay:

Anyhow, I know I should've done the proper measurements before purchasing the card, but regardless I do want to keep the card - therefore I'm going to get a new case to accompany it.

Problem is, I can't seem to find a decently priced case that will fit this card:alone:

Any suggestions?

Budget?
Lots of good cases out there depending on what kind of needs you have

Quiet? If it's an 10.5" card like a 5870, fitting it into a sonata case will work as ive done so myself but the airflow of the sonata kinda sucks compared to a fractal define r3

Quality? Corsair 600T is a lot of people's favorite but is much more pricey than the 2 I mentioned above

Other cases I can suggest is the Antec 300 (kinda known as the bang for buck case as it's ~$40 when on sale I believe) or even the Coolermaster 728(?) but I've heard quality is crap but it's cheap

With cases I wouldn't quite cheap out on since a good case will last you through numerous "upgrades" so do it right the first time and get something that would suit your needs

^ no such thing as cm728

Just a guess but it seems you don't have a high end pc (or you wouldnt be having this problem) so I recommend the haf 912.

HAF 912 is definitely one of the best in its price range (around $50). Great case for the price because its compact for something that accepts ATX boards and has hurricane spec airflow. The only downside I see is if you aren't really into the styling or if you want a side window. Also, because it has so much airflow, you need to keep up with the dust cleaning inside the case.

NZXT has some newer cases out too, e.g. Source 210, Tempest 210

Ah my bad I have bad memory with cases, but the antec 300 and 912 are both bang for buck can't go wrong

300 is a good bang for the buck, but OP should see if it will actually fit the GTX570

I think you're going to have to come up with a budget.

I have a LanCool K-62 Dragonlord.
It definitely got enough clearance to fit my ATI 6950.
I have the one that's powder coated red inside.

Build quality is good as LanCool is Lian-Li's budget line.

I have this the Coolermaster Storm Scout..
Cooler Master Storm Scout Case at Memory Express Computers

Its got a handle on top for easy carrying.. lots of fan spots...

Hey everyone, thanks so much for the responses. I checked the fitment with the antec 300, and it was pretty tight so I went with the Zalman Z9.

After the card went in I had enough room to fit cables between the card shroud and the HDD bay so it's all good!!:fullofwin:

For $50 after taxes it's one damn good case!!
