L~Part Time Job Does anyone know a place that hires entry-level personnel? I'm still in High School and I want to start saving up money for university. Thanks in advance! |
craiglist brah |
craigslist is ur best friend. |
McDonalds, instant hire - no experience necessary. |
just apply everywhere. If you gots the skills, someone's bound to hire you. |
Mcdonalds for a little bit is nice, gives you teamwork experience and skills. Not every employer will care but it's a nice start. It's nice that you're thinking about saving for school |
coffee shop, fast food place, gas station full service attendant etc. Something that'll have flexible schedules for you since you are still in school. |

Never had a job before. |
any volunteer experience ? we all never had a job before applying for the first one lol you are no different then all of us. Just start at mcd's, thats where like 80% of us probably started. |
go do volunteering. Or you can be like me and have the school set up a work experience for you so you can boost up your resume. Remember, any experience is experience. Truth is, if you're young and expect to work for higher-paid positions(ie, sales associates, cashier, etc), you won't be ready, and people probably won't readily establish trust within you. You'll find that you will be alot more ready to work for these positions after you've started working for a lower-paid job. I started off as a newspaper boy, and you'd think it'd be a shitty job, but I did it for a year and a half, and I gained alot of experience from it. It helped me learn the basic aspects of a part-time job (responsibility, time coordination, money handling, customer service). |

Hard to find a job in this time. Craiglist won't help as much now since you actually need to do extra leg work. Employers are posting less on craigslist and more on store signs and main websites. Your best bet is to take a look around malls, drugstores, and ask stores if they are hiring or see if they post up signs. These days the only thing you can offer an employer is hard work and dedication. Or get hook ups from friends. |
beggers cant be choosers, gotta start somewhere. |
1. Bring your resume 2. Go into any retail, fast food, gas station, warehouse, restaurant, food court 3. Ask for manager to drop off resume 4. Hope for the best Most student jobs don't require any skills or experience. You just need to be responsible and show up for work. |
HMV downtown is hiring. just saw their sign today. but yeah like everyone says, start somewhere. i personally started at orange julius and now am a keyholder at below the belt, sure i got lucky with hookups but i see people everyday applying for jobs, best advice i can give you is dress appropriately eg. murse is a no-no. |
you should just drop out of school and go do some runs and shit like boss nguyen, boss francis :troll: |
