Smirnoff, Stolichnaya.

^ That's nasty vodka.

I have a Snap Frost (blue) and Red Berry (red). Let me see if the GF cares to keep them.

We get most of our hard liquor from the States. Every trip to Vegas or when friends go down for more than 3 days, we max out the booze and cigarettes.

bcrdukes 11-17-2011 04:57 PM

Skull Head Vodka is pretty good.

Ciroc, despite being rep'd by P Diddy, is actually a fantastic vodka. For alternatives look at Wyborowa Exquisite, Pravda, or Tag 5. There's also a line of flavored vodkas from Pearl that are quite good. It's at a great price point at around 20ish a bottle.

Edit: If you're also looking at getting dirty mexican drunk, pick up a bottle of Spirytus 76. The 76 is because it's 76% alcohol by volume :P

I'm a grey goose fan myself, don't care much for ciroc. Love the van goh flavored vodkas, for cheaper vodkas I like stoli and skyy. This summer I discovered sobieski and have been buying it ever since. Not as sweet and syrupy as goose but super clean and smooth tasting, only $25 a bottle too!!!

I was going to suggest this, it's actually pretty smooth. I was skeptical, thought they were just trying to sell people on the bottle but it's pretty good.

Haha same here!

My co-workers and I pitched in for a bottle thinking it was just a gimmick but we were pretty amazed after the first sip. :D

I haven't tried it but another one of my co-worker's quite liked Ketel One given the price point.

for cheap i go with russian standard or iceberg vodka

for something a bit more either skull vodka or the van gogh series ( i believe theres 8 flavors)

Do you drink it straight?
How much do you drink at one time?

That or mixed...hence Ciroc is smooth.

I find that Grey Goose tastes like rubbing alcohol.

skholla 11-18-2011 02:43 PM

I find that Ciroc takes great mixed, smooth almost like its not even there (similar to Sobieski). Now straight up out of the freezer is a different story... Tastes like rubbing alcohol.

Grey goose tastes great straight up out of the freezer, good too when mixed, not as "silent" as Ciroc but when I drink a vodka drink I actually want to taste vodka. I like how an ice cold shot of goose is sweet and almost syrupy with a smooth finish.

I really love Chopin vodka but have a hard time finding it in BC. When I'm in LA it's Chopin on the rocks all day!

I completely forgot about Chopin! Like yourself, I quite enjoy it on the rocks. :)

personally Ciroc > Grey Goose

Expresso 11-22-2011 11:23 AM

When I had Crystal Skull I wasn't a fan. It didn't go down easy. I still prefer GG over it. For the price, Russian Standard is pretty good imo anyways.

I'm bumping this so anyone know where I can get some from? Buddy got some from duty free and I liked how smooth it is.

stuff99 06-22-2012 02:02 AM

USA is the only way to go I'm afraid.

murd0c 06-22-2012 01:19 PM
