Can anyone identify what camera and lens this video was taken with? i love the way the video is. i am assuming its a wide angle lens (perhaps 10mm?). the first video is the actual footage (you only need to watch the first 1 min if that to get an idea). the second video (between 31 and 39 seconds) shows the camera as well. looks to be a canon dlsr with perhaps 10-20mm lens and mic on top and maybe some kind of grip? not sure what video settings were done or auto focus or whatever but if someone can help me out? thanks |
Im guessing the 24-70L, and the 5DII There is a red ring on the lens, so L lens, but not big enough for the 17-40 from what I see I don't see a line for the pop-up flash on the body, so I don't think its a 7D |
u think a t1i with 10-20mm sigma would give me somewhat the same look? |
Def a 5D and above me thinks. Also looks like a 17-40 or 16-35mm because the end of the lens is flared out. When he zooms I think I can see the glass move in and out of the barrel vs a fixed element which makes me believe its one of those two. Your T1i and Sigma would give that effect IF you had enough light. Shooting in that same scenario on anything higher than a 2.8 will need a major boost in light. You'll need very high ISO and at least 2.8. |
Pretty sure that's not a T1i. T1i's don't have mic inputs and unless that person modded the T1i, it shouldn't be able to take that mic as an external input. |

its a 5d mkII with a 16-35mm. the 17-40mm lens might be to slow for shooting in that environment. |
