On the ground, the white diagram that shows what you can do. There is a solid white circle with both lane arrows going on the right side of the solid white circle.

That guy was lucky, could have been a really bad situation.

Arrows on the road at 0:10 show differently. He'd have to go around like a normal roundabout. (Also pictured at 0:07 Go around the center)

I leave a big ass space enough for 1 car to merge infront of me when I'm on knight bridge. I rarely need to press the brakes or stop when I'm doing this during traffic hours. People that don't leave sufficient space in front of them is what causes traffic jams

Makes so much sense http://www.bigcitydriver.com/proof.htm

http://www.bigcitydriver.com/newsletter3a.htm

" Try to merge into a space big enough to accommodate your vehicle without making anyone step on their brakes. And always leave enough room in front of your vehicle, enough room, so that a truck could cut in front of you without slowing you down.

It doesn't matter if you are five feet or a hundred feet from the car or truck in front of you. Your not going to get where you're going any sooner if you get closer. So why even take the risk? And letting someone go in front of you doesn't slow you down (unless you are tailgating)."

Dumbasses behind me during traffic goes apeshit when I do this and they shake their heads at me. They don't realize that they are barely stopped when I'm driving in front of them.

this was an issue back when construction on highway 1 was getting intense, the first few days were ridiculous, traffic backed up all the way to the tunnel mid day. after a while people started catching on, maybe from watching the semi's just cruise along but it got to a point where even on the radio, they were saying to leave gaps. same amount of construction a week later but it was a lot smoother

Traffic lights were temporarily out of work, so the intersection is just like 4 way stop sign. First come and first go.

I have to denounce that BMW driver's careless driving on road.
Thanks to Lord that nobody got injury under this kind of situation.

^Damn, lesson learned today. Everytime pass intersection has to do a quick shoulder check day and night. Before I only do shoulder check when the car pass intersection with traffic lights, but now I will do that day time as well.

I live by there and that intersection has had some pretty shit luck recently, even though it seems relatively harmless. At least two accidents in the past week.

hate it when drivers tails the driver in front of themselves praying that they gets by as well

corvette almost nailed the kids, but I personally feel like the cyclist should have at least stopped before entering the cross walk instead of trying to bolt accross. Sorry for the shitty quality, was driving into the sunset.

Looks like he was trying to quickly cut into the next lane but ran out of room. Yikes.

Anyone got pics of that big crash around 6:15pm last night at 2 road and Westminster highway? I was caught in the gridlock, and all I could see is that our south direction wasn't getting green lights anymore, but east/west was. I bailed and turned west onto Westminster, and that's when I saw the 3 fire trucks, ambulance, and about 3-4 cars completely a strewn about the intersection.

My guess: ppl trying to beat the red light on the two lane left turn heading north to the bridge.
