Not that it makes a big difference, but for anyone who cares, that's no ordinary S63..because it's actually a S65. Owned by the founder of the DXSC club for fobs. The S65 belongs to the same owner that used to sport purple-batman logos on his black Aventador. So I am sure that an accident like this one is chump change for him.

Yes, you are correct with the deductibles and what not. But the owner did mod the S65, along with exterior paint protections along the lines of “clear-bra”—vinyl protection. All of which ICBC will not cover for. But then again, he really could care less since he has the means to buy another S65 just for kicks and giggles.

Will be posted on lucky 8auto after repairs paid out from ICBC then he'll get his money back them lucky 8 will have the ultra rare s65 with no accidents. Listed at bargain prices.

Meanwhile the guy will insure another car under his mom with a 43% discount while he rebuilds his own discount through accident forgiveness.

Then he will buy a new car. His net loss is probably the depreciation on his s65 and some mods.

This guy has nothing to worry about, really.

hastings and main street intersection is a shit show, with people walking across the street whenever they want, drivers not traveling at 30km/hr

I've always thought that 30 km/hour speed was retarded to begin with.

Pieces of shit wanna step in front of cars while in a crack-induced binge dance? Be my fucking guest.

Should've just put up fences along the streets like London so pedestrians are forced to use the crosswalks.. but then again it would probably get stolen for scrap.

Not sure how the driver managed that right in the middle of downtown. RIP to the two dead.

they said on cknw this morning that police are looking into the possibility of a medical condition with the deceased driver as a contributing factor...

I admit....I fully expected a couple of younglings driving that Lexus but I was completely wrong :

VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – Vancouver Police say a 68-year-old man and 70-year-old woman were the victims of the single vehicle crash that also injured three pedestrians in downtown Vancouver.

Acting Sgt. Brian Montague says the man and woman were in a white Lexus SUV that veered out of control while travelling northbound on Seymour Street, just south of Davie Street, late Monday afternoon.

The vehicle slammed into a tree, shearing it off, before flipping and skidding on its side into a pole.

Must have been incredible speeds. Can only imagine the passenger in complete panic during this.

Glad that no pedestrians were killed.
