Pioneer Z120 BT

Recently it starts to occour, when i start the car the car deck will act up and absolutely no sound. and i mean absolutely no sound from all source, cd,fm,SD card, USB, iphone connection etc. I turn off my car and restart up my unit, everything back to normal.

Within a month it has happened 3 times already, never happened before

what gives?

What kind of car? Are the speakers amplified? Factory speakers?

It is very possible that one of your speakers is grounding out occasionally and shutting off the deck's internal amplifier. Like installerz said, more info will help. We can look at it for you if you are in the Coquitlam area. :)

running off deck power with Alpine Type S all around, no amp for the speaker

PS

would this do any damage to my gears?

Gears? What gears? No, over time it may damage the deck's amplifier with excessive heat. Bring it by and we'll take a look!

so the problem still exists after letting sounds good take a look, after changing the fuse and having the deck checked out

absolutely no problem

I believe this problem only occours when i start the car while having the deck load up than turn on HID, than all my sounds disappear.

If i turn on HId asap before my deck loads up its fine

any help?

Thats the thing about diagnosing this kind of problem. Bring her by again and we can take another look. :)
