my car's got smoke comming from the inside. (SERIOUS REPLIES)).

It took me a while, at first I thought it was the speakers but found the source of the smoke which looks like its leaking from the rear windshield rightside above soldering points of the rear window defroster. Has any one experienced this before? How can I repair this type of problem. I can't drive with smoke leaking into my nostrils!

did you come when you saw it comming?

check if you have bare live wiring. it might be connected from your battery, while the end is exposed somewhere else. :S

Does it only happen when you use the rear defrost?

yes I narrowed it down to the defroster. Turned it off and no more smoke.

Try opening the windows.

i think you answered your own question.. if your not good with soldering, bring it in to have it looked at... dont want to catch on fire while your driving..

Hate to break it to you but speakers can go up in smoke when the voice coils burn up aka blown speaker.

Here's an extreme example. Although this is probably plugged into the wall but gives you the general idea of how much smoke can be given off when its blown.

fixed the problem! for anyone else that has a honda accord 7th gen, you just have to pry open the plastic panels at the rear window on the passenger side. It was just a wire touching a piece of foam =D. scraped off the burnt foam and wrapped it with electrical tape, all good now !
