I think it's a chunk of compressed ingredients that came loose from one of their processing machines or something.

It's probably just like bran, flour, brown sugar, and whatever all crammed together.. but still disgusting to have that fall out of your cereal box.

just contact the company, they may ask you to send it to them. At the least, they will send you a gift certificate for a free box. They are all about making sure the customer is happy.
