HRP Coilover Covers I saw these on Gearheads website and was wondering if anyone else is using them? They look like they might be a good purchase, my coilovers have some minor rust spots on the threads and I would like to prevent them from worsening this winter. $80?! |
What a rip. With a little ingenuity you can make something better for less. I think anti-seize on the threads would work better than this since those sleeves don't completely seal off moisture from getting in. |
use umbrella covers =D |

Anti-seize + bicycle inner tube + zipties |

looks like i will be getting a set to protect my KW |
I coulda sworn they were $40 before. |
Ive seen these on ATVs, i bet if you call a shop that sells them theyd have something like that in stock |
don't think you can put these on and forget about your coilovers. i've actually heard of people who used these (or something similar) and they ended up keeping dirt/moisture in and actually pre-maturely corroded the coilovers. |
