There was one when I was in grade 6 or 7, so that would have been 1990 or 91, where we got an epic snowfall in like November. My friend's yard was a huge slope, so we spent an entire day making sled trails... By the end, his yard looked like a ski resort. That was like one of the best days a 12 year old can possibly have.

Wow, Skinny.......... you almost sound human..........

I think everyone wishes they were kids again, and snow........ well, it brings out those fond memories.

I remember making my first igloo. My buddies and I played in that igloo for what seemed like an eternity. Huge flakes of snow falling and everything being so bright, even at night. This in the middle of the DTES. It could have been on top of a mountain or in some lost valley.

1996 was nice, too.

I love the snow........shovelling it is so exhilarating. Only because it's not like every day of the year, LOLOLOLOL.

the biggest snow storm i've ever encountered was 3 or 4 years ago?? and i think that one was big enough T_T.

twitchyzero 10-11-2011 11:45 PM

2008 was crazy for sure...it snowed so much that mother nature decided to call quits pretty much for the next 2 years. I wasn't here for the 1996 snow fall so cant comment but everyone's been saying that was pretty insane too.

there were a few snowfalls when i was a kid late 80s-early 90s

where it seemed to snow every winter and there was 1 year where it seemed like we were buried in snow up to my waist but i was a midget so it probably wasnt that much snow ;)
and everyone in the neighbourhood got together for a snowball fights

I'd much rather have cold weather than snow. At least I can still get around and not have to worry about some idiot plowing into me every 3 seconds

OTG-ZR2 10-16-2011 08:23 AM

Froze out last night. Lawn still frosty in the shade.

CorneringArtist 10-16-2011 08:46 AM

I'm waiting for the crush of people wanting to mount snow tires at work. Nothing but the sound of my impact gun going all damn day is gonna suck a bit.

nns 10-16-2011 08:57 AM
