Does it come with windows shell integration or do you have to use their shitty web based manager?

Web-based

Anyways, webOS users have gotten a similar (better) freebie from Box.net for a while now. My free 50GB accounts have 1GB and 2GB per file limits, not the 100MB per file limit they're offering iOS users.

It's for iOS5 users only and you have to install their app. It expires in 50days or something.

I'm on ios4 and it works for me. The offer expires in 50 days but if u get the space within the next 50, u get the space indefinitely

Why wouldn't you want a ton of free, easily accessible storage on a device that doesn't have any USB ports ?

Zyzz 10-15-2011 12:36 AM

100mb limit per file, fail

how does this work? i downloaded the app on the iphone and registered a new account with Box. I then checked with icloud in settings but it said i still only have 5gb. This free 50gb storage is not with the official apple icloud right?

SiRV 10-15-2011 06:30 AM

yeah lol.. it's an additional separate storage system from iCloud all together..

VK79 10-15-2011 12:58 PM

Complete garbage.

Markets itself as some iCloud / Dropbox killer cloud service with a much better/bigger '50 gig' storage.

Downloaded on iPad, singed up, all ready to cloud my files only to discover that you CANNOT UPLOAD from an iPad. Ok nvm, maybe a bug on the iPad app, downloaded on my phone/touch4. Clicked the upload icon, only able to upload from camera or camera roll. They conveniently placed a PDF file in you default folder to cock tease you into upgrading (to get desktop uploading maybe?)

Nothing more than flicker, photobucket, imageshack etc. don't waste your time.

just dont become a celebrity and upload your sex tapes on it:nyan:
