Looking for a shop that installs LED DRLs

for what car?

some cars will have issues with LEDs as the system will detect not enough draw, thus, either a bulb is out, or "malfunction"

also, if ur car is new, and under warranty, you may void that part of the warranty if anything goes wrong which u cant remove without looking like its been modified

Audi does it, free when you buy one of their cars!

skholla 10-17-2011 12:13 PM

And so does Mercedes and Porsche... But that doesn't help.

sexyaccord 10-17-2011 09:33 PM

so does Kia

Rich Sandor 10-17-2011 10:28 PM

so does Ford. LOL.

But FYI beware they are not legal unless they are OEM. Don't do it if your car is already a heat score.

Everyone copied Audi basically.

Please get the high power LED, at least 10w each side,
I got those 1w x 6 for my beater, it's bluish, weak and can't see shit.

ah i c, my friend has a mitsubishi delica without drls and japanoid threw on some led drls to make it comply with canadian regulations.

my vehicle is not a heat score, just a stock nissan rogue, going to drop it 1.5" and call it a day. i like the look of led drls, maybe i shouldnt bother to keep the cops away.

kinda, but led drls are now mandatory on all european vehicles...

LEDs Magazine - Europe mandates DRLs for all new vehicles from 2011

not sure if you actually read the article, but it says that DRLs are now required. NOT LEDs

skholla 10-18-2011 02:59 PM

I did, yes leds are not mandatory, the drls are... But since this is new to Europe and given year, accessible tech and push to save energy, all new drls out of Europe will most likely be led based.
