Image - TinyPic - Free Image Hosting, Photo Sharing & Video Hosting Currently on that. really dunno much about computers just looking for any help i can possibly get if installing windows7 isnt possible just wondering if anyone knows how to reformat computers thanks |
Back up your files. Put your Windows 7 disck and bookf rom CD ROM and follow the instruction. |
I dont have any of those CD's I bought seperate stuff from NCIX and they put it together, theres a possiblity they gave me boot cd's but I mis placed them so yeah |
ummm not sure then you might want to call NCIX. Becasue if you prchase the system with Win7 they should given u the Win7 disck unless u got one of those Dell, Accer PC...... |
Did you pay for the windows7? is it a custom built or a brand name (Dell, HP, etc) if its a brand name, a restore disc MUST accompany the computer (unless you have a separate HDD partition). If its a custom built, and you PAID full price for the windows7, they must give you a copy. I would advise you NOT to touch your computer and pay/ask someone who knows how to do it for you. |
i found the cd haha booted it up now im on windows7 thanks! |
Most companies don't give you the actual windows 7 cd. Usually companies will put a backup partition on your hd in the event of catastrophic failure. To check go to Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Computer Management > Storage > Disk Management On the right side of your GUI you should see "disk 0" and you should see "Recovery" in the same row. If this doesn't work contact your distributor, perhaps they will be nice enough to send you a copy; good luck. Regards |
