wiper blade for 2007 civic 4 dr

does anyone know is it true that for the wiper blade on a 2007 4 dr civic, can only replace with OEM replacement?

my frd asked me to get some wiper blade for her 2007 civic, searched on google and ppl saying is really hard to replace the whole blade, usually just the fill in?

can anyone confirm?

thank you

For the 07 Civics its cheaper just to replace the rubber inserts. Theyre 6 dollars each much cheaper than going to buy aftermarket wipers.

i confirm that jaemc is correct

It would be safe bet to get an oem wiper blade insert at honda dealers. I bought my inserts last year and they work fine now. :)

for all Honda and Acura, it's always cheaper to repalce the wiper inserts only, unless you are not satisfy with how the oem blades perform ...

wiper blade inserts are cheap and easy to replace yourself

i agree honda inserts are usually teflon coated and really good rubber also cheap they are better that most generic replacements. btw if you throw away your honda blade and want them back later they are around $200 from the dealership

Honda blades can be found for much less than $200.

But if anyone wants to go back to Honda ones, I have 2 blades
550mm(76630-SH3-G11) and 450mm(76630-SHJ-A01)
were fitted on a 6th gen civic but i'm sure they'll work on many other hondas.

I work at a dealer and an advisor told me the blades for the 8th gen civic (2006-2011) are somewhere between $150-$200-- I forget exactly. Its not the case for the other gens though.

Though, not sure if youre suggesting you can source out oem blades somewhere else, if so enlighten me :o
