SEO Recommendations

Hey Everyone,

I need someone to do some SEO. Can you recommend anyone or yourself. There seems like there is a lot of companies blowing smoke out there.

Thanks,

Jared

depends on your budget but... 6S marketing is one of the leading companies in vancouver.

If you want SEM as well I'd suggest Reach Local.

What are you looking to achieve? Keep in mind that SEO is an on-going project and results don't typically show until 4-6 months (depending on the competitiveness of your desired keywords)

I can even do it if its something basic. SEO is really pretty simple, just time consuming.

check out my friends at

PR Vancouver Web and Graphic Design, SEO, Internet Marketing and Social Meida

they do both site building and seo. when i was regularly posting content for my blog, they got me as high as 6th place on the search word "vancouver sushi" for google and other search engines. could have been much higher if i didnt get lazy with the content so cant fault them there. tell them jeremy referred u and maybe they can work out a deal.

do it yourself.

use alexa.com to gauge your rank

with google panda coming out no one really knows how search engines will rank your stuff

edit:
heres a few tips:
1) quality > quantity
2) Bad back links = bad
3) Be careful of affiliates and linked partners, if they have a bad rep your ranking goes down

majority of sushi restaurants don't have websites so its pretty easy to get high rank

Thanks everyone. I believe that Google Panda is already out. I just read an interesting blog post about it after hearing about it from ****Master above. Here is the link, it gave me some insight on what I should change about my own website. Quit Blaming Your Suck on Panda | Search Engine Journal

This is the site that we are trying to optomize Canada Mortgage Consultant - The Fast and Friendly Way to Obtain Your Next Mortgage!

There is a lot of competition out there for mortgage brokers.

The main reason, in what I am trying to do is get us optimized locally in Victoria, but I would like to do a cost/benefit analysis. The company that I have in mind wants $1000 to do it and has been recommended by another broker firm but they are an American company and I rather use some one local.

Anymore insight or feedback would be great.

Jared
