Has anyone decided what they're going to do for rides to EDC?
One of my friends said the shuttle isn't worth it because it's like $100 per person and they take forever
But, another friend said to just rent a car?
but, that doesn't seem like a good idea at all

If your going with a large group of people then rent your own mini shuttle bus. Cabs aren't hard to get but they're 60$ both ways.
I would advise everyone to not take the edc provided shuttle buses.
Long ass line ups, damn hipsters everywhere also
how do you really "enjoy" the whole 3 days? Realistically after the first day i'd be "down in the dumps" for me to even think of do it again for the next 2 days

From what people tell me in Vegas you just do it.
Regardless if you're going down for EDC or not. If you go down for vegas for two-three days... you party hard, do not get much sleep, wake up do it again.
I think that is just the norm for Vegas. Which is why most people do this shit when we're "young"?
I think it'll be ok.

EDC is a lot different than being indoors in a hotel/casino which is pumping oxygen through it. The trick is to go to EDC, come back to the hotel, hit the pool, sweat out the toxins, nap, then go back. That's how we survived.

So for EDC, how does it work?
What time does it open? or is it open all day for three days?
I'm not exactly sure what to expect
8pm to 6am is what last years schedule shows. Just finished booking all my flights and hotels, I'm READY!
Where is everybody here staying while in vegas?

its VEGAS baby VEGAS!!
I did a 5 day bender this past summer there...you feel like shit in the morning but booze is the best cure for a hang over plus red bulls, caffeine pills, 24 hour energy and whatever you can sneak down
say if you I to only go to edc for 2 nights, can i just give away my card for the 3rd night (sunday) to my friend?
My friend said you get a wrist band and you keep it on for three days. so if you can somehow get the wrist band on him then i`m sure it`s fine.
he said if you lose it it`s a pain in the ass, you stand it the lost line, lol and wait and show id etc to get the band.
Though, he said he heard that from a friend so I don`t know how reliable that is...

and dont lose your friends ppl, theres no reception at the event he told me
The second tier of tickets will be released for purchase on January 3, 2012. There will be a layaway payment option available at that time, as well as the opportunity to purchase hotel packages. There will be a very limited quantity of single-day tickets available at a later date.
