passed on some more ideas for design at blitzgear, will be meeting up with them again.
For those wondering about the prototype and what the heck happened with it, I've decided I'm not going to put it into production. It's a design that has a lot of sentimental value to me, inspired by the cancelled show " How to Make It in America" season 1. to have it mass produced for members who probably won't get the design or treat it like "just another shirt or decal", well I'd rather take it off the front line then: Quote:
"...the origins behind the new "Deconstruction" decal was that it was inspired by a B.C. First Nations artist that I admire a lot, Brian Jungen. He deconstructs modern day items and creates familiar Aboriginal art. I simply deconstructed the Revscene logo and in a sense tried to make a different design out of it. So my intention was not for it look "Transformer-ish", but that's what people tend to associate it with it. But art is art, and everyone interprets the same piece with different meaning..."
| So that's it. it's now a limited edition rare design by yours truly, founder of RS. I think I made like 8 shirts in total and a bunch of decals. they are out there somewhere.
Keener's corner: if you are a collector of rs artifacts, you can buy it still but it's pretty expensive.
The copyright to my art went to the company who helped me with the project. you can order it online through them (search word "revscene"): http://www.carsticka.com/deconstruct...ker-decal.html http://i40.tinypic.com/35i7h5g.jpg http://i44.tinypic.com/30n91yr.jpg |
